Welcome! I’m Kerry, the blogger behind Recipes that Fit. I am a Registered Dietitian in Boston, and I love good food. Like most people, I have a busy schedule and can’t spend hours in the kitchen each day. But I hope to show you that with planning and preparation, you can make the most of your cooking time and prepare delicious meals to enjoy either at home or on the go.
What does the term “good food” mean to me? First and foremost, it has to taste great. When I am hungry and sit down to eat, I want to feel excited! Second, it needs to make my body feel good, and that means an emphasis on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and dairy products, plus the occasional treat. I choose local foods as often as possible, and those produced using sustainable practices.
